The battery slides on and off and locks into place.This new battery also has two USB outputs, comes with a charger and a car charger. The quick release mount is very small and can be attached to your rig. The previous battery just had a mounting pate and mounting screw. The quick release mount on this new version is also really nice. I still get about 7.5 hours with the Blackmagic pocket camera with this battery but this new version also has a screen that tells me exactly how much power is left in the battery and how much charge it has when I'm charging it. They've added some really helpful improvements. I'm very pleasantly surprised to find that this new model is even better. I bought this new Magic Power battery because I own two of the originals and they're the best batteries for the BMPCC. Just a heads us for fellow BMPCC4K owners. 
Will test it on a shoot and report back if it does not continue to work.

That being said, on trial testing the power bank with my LP dummy battery (thankfully I owned a compatible one already), it seems to work as advertised. There is no BMPCC4K locking cable included (reading through the Q&A, it appears that Juicebox is in the process of producing one, but this bundle DOES NOT come with one). You need either a USBA to USBC cable to CHARGE the internal battery while the camera is turned off OR you need an LP dummy battery with a compatible connection cable to power the camera while in use. As it states in the summary description, it requires other cables/accessories to actually charge a battery or power the camera when in use. Out of the box, this WILL NOT WORK on its own with the BMPCC4K - there are no cables included that connect natively to this camera. I bought this for my BMPCC4K, and I do not think that the description for this product is clear as it relates to this particular camera.
